01 · Honors & Certifications
Qualifications That Support Professional Elevator Supply
For an elevator buyer, certificates are not simply items to display on a website. They help answer practical questions. JAFITA has built its qualification system alongside more than two decades of elevator manufacturing, OEM cooperation and project supply.
- 01Is the supplier qualified to operate in the elevator industry?
- 02Are management and production processes controlled?
- 03Is quality responsibility clearly defined?
- 04Can technical and project documentation be reviewed?
- 05Does the company have an established record of technical development?
02 · Special Equipment
Operating within a Regulated Elevator Industry
Elevators are safety-critical equipment. Their production, installation, maintenance and related activities are subject to regulatory requirements, technical standards and defined responsibilities.
JAFITA’s company qualification portfolio includes a Special Equipment Production License, forming part of the regulatory foundation supporting our elevator business.
For project buyers, this is especially relevant when evaluating a supplier’s industry background and operational legitimacy.
Our company portfolio also includes ISO management-system certifications, patents, software copyrights and corporate honors.
03 · ISO Management Systems
Structured Management Behind Project Delivery
Elevator projects involve more than manufacturing a finished unit.
Technical review, purchasing, production coordination, documentation, occupational safety and environmental management all affect how consistently a project is delivered. JAFITA’s company materials show ISO management-system certifications covering quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
Quality Management System
Supports standardized processes for quality management, internal responsibilities, documentation and continuous improvement.
Environmental Management System
Provides a framework for identifying and managing environmental responsibilities within business and operational activities.
Occupational Health & Safety Management System
Supports systematic management of workplace health and safety risks.
04 · Patents & Software Copyrights
Continuous Technical Development
JAFITA’s company portfolio presents more than 20 patents and software copyrights. These intellectual-property assets reflect ongoing work in elevator-related technology, product development and internal technical capabilities.
For customers, the number itself is not the most important point. What matters is that the company has continued to invest in technical development rather than relying only on product trading or external sourcing.
Our technical development covers areas such as
- Elevator-related technologies
- Product and component applications
- Engineering improvement
- Software and digital management tools
- Technical process development
Detailed patent or software-copyright information can be reviewed according to the documents available in our company qualification portfolio.
05 · Corporate Honors
Recognition Built Over Years of Industry Participation
In addition to licenses and management-system certifications, JAFITA’s company materials include corporate honors and industry recognition accumulated during its development.
These recognitions form part of the company’s broader record in the elevator industry. We treat them as supporting evidence of long-term participation—not as a substitute for technical capability, product quality or project performance.
For procurement decisions, the more important question remains:
Can the supplier provide the right product, the right documentation and the right support for the actual project?
That is the standard we apply to our work.
06 · Project Value
More Than a Logo on a Certificate Wall
When international customers evaluate an elevator supplier, company certificates are only one part of the decision.
They should be considered together with manufacturing experience, technical communication, supply capability, product documentation and project references.
More Structured Project Management
Clearer internal processes help coordinate technical information, purchasing, production and documentation.
Better Documentation Control
Project drawings, specifications, product information and commercial documents can be managed through defined workflows.
Quality Responsibility
Management-system requirements support clearer responsibilities for quality and corrective action.
Supplier Evaluation
A formal management structure supports more consistent coordination with manufacturing partners and component suppliers.
Long-Term Cooperation
For distributors, contractors and repeat customers, stable internal systems are important when the same product or configuration needs to be supplied again.
07 · An Important Distinction
Company Certification vs. Product Certification
Company qualifications and product certifications are not the same thing. A company-level ISO certificate does not automatically mean that every elevator model is certified for every country.
Company qualification
Shows how the organization is licensed, managed and documented. It supports supplier evaluation, but it does not replace model-specific or market-specific product approval.
Product certification
A product configuration suitable for one market may require different standards, technical documents or certifications for another. Scope must be confirmed for the selected equipment.
JAFITA confirms the following according to each project:
- Destination country
- Applicable elevator standard
- Product category
- Required certification
- Technical configuration
- Electrical requirements
- Documentation scope
- Inspection or approval requirements
Applicable standards and certification scope must be confirmed before the order is finalized. This approach is more reliable than making a general claim that every product is suitable for every market.
08 · Documentation
Documentation Available for Project Review
Depending on the product and project scope, JAFITA can coordinate relevant technical and commercial documentation during the quotation and confirmation process.
Documents may include:
- Company qualification documents
- Management-system certificates
- Product technical data
- General arrangement drawings
- Hoistway requirements
- Electrical information
- Component specifications
- Operation and maintenance manuals
- Packing documents
- Export documentation
- Product certificates where applicable
The exact document package depends on the selected product, project requirements and destination market.
09 · Before You Order
Reduce Uncertainty Before You Place an Order
For developers, contractors, elevator companies and distributors, supplier qualification review should happen before price becomes the only decision factor.
JAFITA encourages customers to clarify these questions during the technical and commercial review stage. Clear answers at the beginning help reduce misunderstandings later.
Who is responsible for the equipment?
What qualifications does the supplier hold?
Which standards apply to the selected product?
What documentation will be provided?
Which certificates apply to the company, and which apply to the actual equipment?
